Established in 2019, Guinea Pig Haven Perth provides a nurturing sanctuary for guinea pigs across WA. Now a registered ACNC charity, we remain devoted to granting every 'wheek' a new life through rehabilitation and love.
Grace — The Heart Behind Our Haven
Grace wasn’t just a guinea pig; she was the spark that inspired Guinea Pig Haven Perth. Sassy, opinionated, and absolutely devoted to food, she had a way of making her preferences known — especially when snacks were involved. Her little quirks were impossible not to love, and they sparked the founder’s deep affection for guinea pigs as individuals with their own humour, needs, and charm. Grace’s spirit lives on in our logo as a reminder of where this journey began: with one small guinea pig who showed us how much character can fit into such a tiny body.
Caring With Grace
Every surrendered guinea pig who arrives at our doors is treated with the same gentleness that Grace showed the world. Many come from difficult or uncertain situations, and we never rush their healing. We give them time to decompress, time to feel safe, and time to rediscover their curiosity and personality. Whether they stay with us for a short while or a little longer, each guinea pig is offered care that honours Grace’s legacy — thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in kindness.
